After a long trans-Atlantic flight, I got to spend a little time in Dublin, even though I technically wasn't supposed to leave the airport. Caught a shuttle downtown from the airport to eat breakfast. Had an 'Irish' breakfast, which isn't all that different from Iowa. Potatoes, toast, sausage, bacon, and the like. Coffee to, thank God. I can see why Megan liked Ireland so much. The people are nice, helpful, ready to laugh, & there is so much crammed into the little space of Old Dublin.

Not much to see as far as sights go. Here is Trinity College & the old parliament building.

On the way back to the airport we passed by some houses that can only be described as 'quaint'. Unfortunately the pictures didn't turn out. Each had a tiny little yard that was no bigger than our back deck. Some had grass, some were more moss than grass, & some were only rock. But dad, dandelions are still dandelions.
