Part 3: The Most Amazing Christmas goes on...

After Christmas Eve, in the Trøndelag region they say Løkk med jula!! Another great thing, Christmas just keeps going for days afterwards. More time to have fun!!

One interesting thing they tried to teach us was cross country skiing. It was a lot of fun, but I am terrible…

Going up into the mountain cabin is much more to my taste. Even though it was quite cold at first…

It was a lot different than I remember from summertime…

Anyways, the men went first to start the fire and the American style chili. It was our turn to cook for them, although I do admit that I really missed this particular Christmas tradition…

Then it was a long night of dominoes and fun…

The next morning was absolutely beautiful…

Especially with dad’s French toast…

Not much daylight though, so back to through the woods to Skage…

That night was a wild Christmas party, and no, the camera did not go along for the ride.

Part 2: Most Amazing Christmas...Presents!!!

The next day we joined our family at church, to watch the children's concert and mingle with other members of the community…

By Christmas Eve we were having a grand time.

For Norway, presents come on Christmas Eve, and a jolly little elf decided to make a visit…

But then it was on to the actual tree…

Opening presents took the rest of the evening and we had a lot of fun…

Lots of hugs…

Lots of fun making my sister think we only got stuff from ISU instead of the UI stuff she helped find…

She blamed me of course…

She stuck to her guns though…

And was happy when the UI stuff showed up…

What is funny is that she fell for it every time…

So there you have it another house divided…

As the title says, most amazing Christmas ever!! God Jul!!
